Lethrinops macracanthus Trewavas, 1931
Original description as Lethrinops macracanthus:
- Trewavas, Ethelwynn. 1931. "A revision of the cichlid fishes of the genus Lethrinops Regan". Annals and Magazine of Natural History. Series 10; n.7; pp. 133-152 (crc00999).
Conservation: Lethrinops macracanthus is evaluated by the international union for the conservation of nature in the iucn red list of threatened species as (EN) endangered (2006).
