Pam Chin has been replying to cichlid questions for over twenty years. Highly respected and experienced aquarist, Pam has visited cichlid habitats around the world, and bred in her's and her husband Gary fish house hundreds of cichlid species. Besides her job, she still devotes time to help any person with a cichlid question!

Neolamprologus pulcher (Trewavas & Poll, 1972)
最初命名為 Lamprologus savoryi pulcher:
- Trewavas, Ethelwynn & M. Poll. 1952. "Three new species and two new subspecies of the genus Lamprologus, Cichlid fishes of Lake Tanganyika". Bulletin de l'Institut Royal des Sciences Naturelles de Belgique. 28 (50); pp 1-16 (crc00055).
同種異名:
- Lamprologus brichardi Poll, 1974, 其模式產地在 Kasoje, off the beach and across the river, Tanzania. 鑑定者: Duftner, 2007.
保育: Neolamprologus pulcher 被評鑑為國際自然保育聯盟瀕危物種紅皮書名單中的 (LC) 無危 (2006).
