I have a 125 gallon tank with a chip that I feel is too big to use on one corner so I am thinking about building a big tank using the good piece but I don't think you can get the Pratt & Lambert 2 part epoxy paint we used to use. What are people using these days?

I at one time had considered doing a plywood tank. Still might actually. Need to finish my basement remodel first though. This is what i will most likely be going with.

One of the Club Board members has done a few of these. I believe we have a DVD in the OCA libary on it. I think it was a year or two ago. He used some sort of black stuff.....

Thanks, I'll have to check out the DVD, and that paint looks like it will work perfectly. I have built a few it is not hard, but you have to take your time and be careful while you are screwing them together.

John
How big of a tank are you planning on building? I am curious on the type of design you will be using because I have seen on YouTube just using a high quality plywood about ¾” thick for the whole build.

They will be between 200 and 230 gallons. I think I'll use the front and bottom to make 2 but I might be getting a 125 with a broken bottom free so maybe I'll use the bottom from mine to fix it. I will be building it the way Mike Neelon used to make them.
