Dechlorinating Water

Postby JimmyFrontosa » Tue Jun 19, 2012 9:12 am

I am thinking about purchasing Aqueon Water Changer 50'. What would be the best way to dichloride water using this changer, during change, before or after ?

Thanks

Not sure about how that water changer works, but if it empties to a desired depth, then refills, add the dechlorinator before refilling. If you're quick about it, you can start the refilling process and immediately add dechlorinator, to be a little more time-efficient.

I hope I understood your question right, and I hope this answers it.

Thanks, that's exactly how it works. It hooks up to sink faucet and act as a drainer and refill back to the tank, the other end is basically a gravel siphon.
I am just trying to find the most efficient way to change water - no more bucket ! lol
