Help. Need a help with my Venustus. Hole in the head?

Postby skuzzlebutt » Thu Jun 14, 2012 8:55 pm

Have never had a fish with hole in the head disease. Does this look to be HITHD?

Thanks

Clout and water changes between treatments will help get rid of it.

That doesn't look like HITH disease. From the picture it looks parasitic or could be fungual.
Clout's pretty good. Many ppl swear by the stuff.

Kyle's right...HITH doesn't look like that. Is the white part kind of fuzzy? If so, it's probably fungal.

My guess is he injured himself, maybe trying to squeeze into the too-small opening in that pot in the 1st picture, and scraping his fore-head on the sharp edge. Fungus often invades a skin injury.

I like Jungle's Fungus Eliminator for that problem. Seems like it works every time.

Good luck.
