Honduran Red Point or Convict?

Need to ID this pair of cichlids that I got. Are they Honduran Red Points, Convicts, or Hybrids? I've gotten conflicting opinions all over.

These were taken a few months ago, so the parents are much bigger now and they've spawned a few times already since then.

They aren't Honduran red points, look like hybrids to me because of the broken barring.

Though I have never seen those bar broken like that I think other characteristics would probably have to exist to call them hybrids. Not saying that they are not. From my point of view I would think they are convicts.

My honduran red point have not a red belly.

I suppose they could be convicts however in breeding those I haven't seen ones with broken bats or the first two bars going at such an angle mine at least have been straight. The other thing they could still be convicts just inbred too much without new blood being introduced and both those could characteristics could be from that.

Now we are thinking somewhat the same. I hear people say that inbreeding fish is not the same as people. On the grand scale that is true but I still think inbreeding fish can produce things in fish we do not normally see.

I took a look at some old pics from when I was breeding them a lot, for feeders mostly. However as they were inbred more I had some that did have the broken bars and angled bars besides the first one. So with that said from my own experience I would say those are convicts just a defect or characteristic of inbreeding too much without introduction of new blood.

That is why even starting out I get fish from different places. Like when I first purchased my Dovi. I picked them up from different stores and the two pairs that I had at the time were not from the same bloodline.
