Stocking a tall show tank

Have been lurking on the forums, and looking for ideas on how to stock my new tank, which is 4ft by 2ft by 2.5 ft tall, about 150 gallons. I have kept Africans in the past , long time ago, and much has changed since then.

In my tank, with the extra height, could I safely mix some auloncara species with calves and leleupi? Then throw in some cyprichromis to occupy the upper open part of the tank?
