A few minutes ago after hearing a bit of splashing from the 125 upstairs that houses the A. flaveolus I decided it was probably time to take the extra female out and give the tank a nice big water change since it had been a while... Thinking... maybe they'll spawn after that. Well... It seems as if somethings in the soap opera of the 125 have changed... Big daddy had decided to swap females and spawn with the larger female... They've got wrigglers! :lol:

I went ahead and did a 50% W/C and took the extra female out and put her in the 185 CA community to see how she fairs... Also pulled a few hundred fry to raise... :lol:

It seems that my wifes 240 has become infested with snails.... Went and got a leopard puffer and a figure 8 puffer after work and threw em in... Hopefully they do their job!

All I've got to say is holy shnikies batman! These puffers destroyed the snails... I'm having trouble finding ANY and the front glass used to be covered with them just a few days ago! Awesome stuff!

We lost our first of thirteen mpimbwe frontosa yesterday. The group is 2 1/2 years old... Looked to be a small female...

I was up early today 5:00 am and did water changes on tanks 1-10 A,B and C and the 240... Moved the marble convicts from the 50 breeder to the 30 gallon, the oscar fry from the 29 to the fifty breeder and the pair of cons who had fry in a 20H to the 29. Busy morning...

Ten ten's and four seventies got changes this morning... Also, the cutteri have spawned again in the 185 and the oscars spawned again (unsuccessfully) lasat nite in the 1200. Too many small fish in there... They can't handle it...

And Max cleaned the glass yesterday!

Water changes took 45 minutes, I typed this while the 70's were filling.

Any requests on pictures or video of a specific species or tank I have?

LOL I'm afraid you can't really see through the glass right now! LOL

One of your males is in there with my female. I gave my male and one of your others away to a friend. The other two are in 20Hs on the top rack... With glass just as dirty... :shock:

Once my amphilophus flaveolus are an inch the oblongum will be getting a 70 breeder. Actually, there's no reason thaey can't now... I've just got to move a few things around...

Congrats on the flaveolus spawn. Spread em around - a yellow Amphilophus in every tank!!

After numerous attemps to allow my red shoulder severums to raise fry I have decided to pull their eggs tonite when I get home from my rediculous display of attempting to golf.... I'll see if mama will snap a pic of the parents and eggs today...

TFG, do you have any red shoulders for sale? I have a buddy who has been going insane trying to get a hold of one.
