cyprichromis katete (how do adults look)

Please Post your Pic's of your cyprichromis katete !!!!
Hi I bought some cyprichromis katete right before X-mas they are about 1-3/4" some smaller (i am guessing the females) .

I have serched on teh Net what these will look like when they grow but there is not to meny pics out there. I would love to see your cyprichromis katete pics if you have some please. I think I have 2 males and 6 females but it looks to me like one male might have a blue tale and the othere a yellow tale. there is not much color on the body of the fish yet so i am not even sure they are both the males.

they started fluttering today showing of what little color they do have. that is why i would love to see how these are going to look grown.

also would love some female pics to.

Leptosomas for me....
The males vary deliciously! Yellow heads... blue heads.. .yellow fins...blue fins ...in just about any combination. Nice patterns in the fins as well. Heres a sample of some of the male color configs:

Females are not bad looking...just toned down versions of the males like this one in the background.

Wow... Sweet i know for sure one of mine are getting a yellow tale so far He just started fluttering 2 mights ago. I think i got 3males 7 females. but i guess only time can tell.

do the females seem to keep the black Line on dorsal fins? is kind of outlines it.

Hy,

just saw this thread...

I collected some fish at katete this summer. The almost pastel color on the anal fin and the irridescent margin of the dorsal fin really pop underwater. A really beautiful variant! :D

unfortunatly my uw-camera was floaded but...
