Heros blue is it natural ...

Postby Meeki67 » Fri Jun 11, 2010 3:45 pm

Is it a natural color for a heros ... Or is it a selection made by hobbyist ... it was bought in Deutchland (hobby zoo) as sp. blue ...

What a beautiful Heros! I certainly hope it is a valid, wild occuring variant.

Beautiful and valid female of Heros Apendiculatus, lately many consider them combine with Efasciatus species, but they do look very different in my eyes.
You lucky to have her.

Did they have a bunch? Hardly an expert, but I would lean towards it just being a beautiful female that inspired a name...

Image Loved her blue face..
