Cichlid tank 1 (complete)

Postby Lee Nuttall » Tue Jun 16, 2009 2:59 pm

Hi, its been a few months since i updated the tank.

I was recently asked by the editor of 'Practical Fishkeeping' if i would like to have my tank featured in the magazine. Obviously i jumped at the chance and started a few ideas. Some ideas worked others didn't.

From mainly feedback off various forums, i've decided to submit this tank. The aquascape is based more or less the same as when i started, as this one was favoured by a lot of people.

Now the fish have put some size on, they complement the aquascape better.

The tank is supposed to be featured in the September edition, subject to change. :)

Thought i would include two new videos of the tank. Hopefully they will give you an idea of the temprement of the fish.

Eventually the stock will be halved to go in the other tank, as the tank won't work in the long term.

That tank and fish look awesome :D

Thanks for sharing.

By the way what is the volume of the tank ?

Tell us more about the background. Is it a mylar photo sheet or a relief of some kind in the tank ?

I would also like to post the link to your video channel on my home forum.

Thanks,
