Hey

I'm from Polish. I am very curious what you wrote
Under what conditions / situations occurred to spawn, an aquarium.
Do you have only one pair? I look forward to a description and photos.

Hi Maciek.

Yes i have only one pair.

They have a tank of 660 liters, with dim light and the water is 24 degrees.

I will not post a lot of details in here just yet (but i will later on of course), as i´m working on a report/article for the polish "Tanganika MAGAZYN" along with T. Andersen.
It will all be in the April 2010 issue, i know you read that magazin.. so now you have something to look foreward to 8) .

Regards from Michael.

Hi, after making an article about breeding L. staneri and posting it on a danish
website, a friend of mine asked if he could use the article on his own site and translate it
to english, so here is the article in english - enjoy:

That is a great article! How big is the fry at this moment?

2 of my 3 staneri`s have formed a pair. They chaced number 3 around the tank and I had to remove hem to safe him. My pair is approximately11 and 13 centimeters so they are not full grown yet. How long did it take for you`re staneri`s to grow from +-12cm tot 20cm?

JCB:

The fry is now 6 to 7 cm. of size, they really grow fast.

The parents grew from 13 cm to 20 cm. in 8 month I think, but be carefull when feeding them.
Today my pair can consume a lot of food, but in the beginning they vere sensitive about eating
large amounts of food.

The fry eats everything that they are fed, and they are not dificult to feed at all -
I´d say that it is almost almost imposible to feed them too much.
