I found this piece of driftwood on eBay and was wondering, since it is "untreated" what would I need to do to it to make it safe for my tank? Also, what about tannin's (spelling)?

I've always been told that cedar is not good for an enclosed system like an aquarium. Something to do with the oils inside the wood. I'm not entirely sure though. Maybe someone will give you an answer.
