hey i live in dorset and am currently looking for a local breeder of neolamprologus brevis or neolamprologus multifasciatus i have looked around all my local fish shops and have had no luck so just wondered if there was a local breeder of either species, cheers ryan

Dorset is a county in South West England on the English Channel coast. Sort of on the bottom of England. At least that's the main one. There's a Dorset in Ontario somewhere. Also one in Vermont. I guess he's going to have to be more specific. :)

Well... Ontario and Vermont are two other Dorsets... so there is a choice. :lol:

But any decent Maidenhead or other LFS could order em for you if asked if only from only another outlet.
UK breeders, sorry they seem to be well hidden. :(
I must have given away over 100 of these guys. Sadly I no longer keep or breed them. Great little fish well worth the effort of getting going.

Breeds even better in a species tank.
Better with Escargot or other land snail shells (the real lake Tang shells are I hear well worth the effort of seeking out but quite expensive in the UK dunno why they are real common in the lake) than those hopeless Whelk shells but they seemed able to make do. :)
