Paretroplus nourissati

Here are the pair i recently got from a friend .She believes that these are the only pair in the uk !

The pics dont do them justice they are stunning and at adult size with the male around 6-7" female around 5"

if someone dressed as a ninja breaks in your house ands steals these, that would me me :shock:

your friend did them away? amazing. they look awesome......

any idea what generation these are (F1, F2 etc) and where they originate?

they look stunning......

be very careful, cause you managed to build up a very unique collection in a very short time :mrgreen: :wink:

LOL friend yes i am a very lucky man , they were collected by Paul Loiselle and they are F1 (i believe) but will ask , they are stunning and hopefully if they breed they sid i will send you some fry !

how are they doing at the moment?

can't wait to see pictures of spawning nouri's on this forum (as opposed to the central americans who have another kind of nouri)

Those cichlids are ones of my favorites, the only problem is to find them and that they need plenty of space because they turn very agressive, congratulations on your fish

No sign of breeding but the male is now second in line only to the Paratiliapia ,he has coloured up great !

Nice pair, I managed to get a pair a bit larger into a pond out of an initial group of 8 juveniles!! These Fish are remarkably aggressive, probably an understatement, súper aggressive towards conspecifics. I wish you luck that you may propagate the species in the UK, I'll do the same with my friends in Mexico.
