Discussion about cichlids from Lake Tanganyika

i have had these fish before but can t seem to locate them in my area.the lfs does not give any info on the breeders(i have been buggging them for weeks). but im still looking for them on the net.i do believe they need caves or rocks they just swam around my plants but nothing more.do they work together in pairs or trios.

i found the type i had in my tank they are called"Julidochromis transcriptus Gombi"and yes im still looking for some new fish.

I don't know of anyone locally breeding those. Personally, I have a group of marlieri 'burundi'. They've done well for me. Have you contacted any of the local aquarium clubs like Sarnia or London?

I have talked to Ann(in Sarnia' s Aquarium Society) but she is now in Toronto ,I ran an ad but no replies.I ll go to Sarnia next meeting to talk to the group.
