I think it's Xystichromis phytophagus.

In cichlid-forum they told me it could be a Xystichromis phytophagus or a Haplochromis limax "red chest"
From inside the french forum , it looks more like the emerald fire!

So if you find something more,
please tell me!

I am still on investigation on this fish because on the fish shop in Belgium ( they sold it to me as Haplochromis sp "emerald fire"
apparently in the French organisation Haplochromis.org, they have apparently quiet same fish, in Germany I have looked with some guys , and they don't know really which fish it is , they thought perhaps the limax

Now please have a look at fifth picture in :
http://aquarium-webzine.com/poisson-eau ... -berthelot, this is the emerald fire from France!

So perhaps there is a kind of analogy between these two fishes the Christmas fulu and the emerald fire,
is it there something you know on US about the emerald fire!

Hey there this is my first post here and funny how I picked this thread It just so happens I have a male and female of these . They are wonderful fish the colors of the male are fantastic .
I hope to learn a little more about them here

Which one is looking like yours : the dominant , the brother ( more orange) , or the one in the last picture ( a read head)!
