Some new pics

Postby DaveHansen » Thu Jun 19, 2008 4:25 pm

It has been ages since I got into the fishroom to take some pictures. Here are a couple from last night

These pindu are tough to get a pic of and it is frustrating me. I just keep trying. At this point it will be luck if I get anything good

This is another one that has been difficult to photograph. I have found them to be extremely shy the second I get the camera in front of them. These are about 7 months old now.

This first pic is when I got them last Nov

Great photos Dave! Do keep us posted with additional photos of the Divandu as it grows.

Hi Dave!

Great pics! It's what first comes to my mind when I see them. After that I ask to myself "how is he doing this"? let me try : good optics and double flash? :) I'll appreciate any detail you can give me ;)

Just like Mark I would like to have a look at the growing process of the Divandu, but even more at the one of S. sp. square head! ;)

I share your opinion about the pindu, they may be among the hardest challengers for "shoot me if you can" competition. . Here is one of my attempts (if you prefer me too I can remove it of course).

While my photog skill level is miles below Dave's, it's interesting to note the difference in the fish's (divandu) display pattern in this darker environment.

Nick,

I need to diffuse the light a bit on my tank it appears. I am going to do that tonight and see what happens. Nice pics
