Just curious Juan, is this a notice of a new accepted taxonomic classification?
If this is the case are we also dealing with any new genus?
I ask because I would like to keep the structure behind the Cichlidbase as up to date as possible and may need modify tables.

That is a good point Alex. That those taxa are finally accepted I dont know. Those species were described properly (complying with the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature) and hence the names are available and included in the catalogue. Now, I lack the knowledge to express a sound opinion of the validity of the species but after reading the descriptions and diagnosis I would have little doubt that Apistogramma barlowi and Dicrossus gladicauda are valid taxa. I have my doubts about Australoheros ribeirae though, which in my opinion is merely a variation of Australoheros facetus almost impossible to tell appart form other variations, but there are people that can give a much more informed opinion on this matter than me.
