ANGELS OR NOT

Postby ale1995 » Sun Jan 23, 2005 10:43 pm

I have a 35 gallon tank with two angelfish, 10 tetras and 4 corydoras, the two angels are two years old, and I would like to add acouple more, is there any risk of agression to the new angels.

I would have to say yes. Angels are territorial. The two you have seem to get along. Any changes to that may result in fights. I would assume that the newcomers would be the ones attacked. I think your tank seems fine as it is.

Are you trying to breed the angels?

that's the plan, but I do know if two angels are enough to pairing, and if the tetras will let them

Two paired angels are all you need. However, the tetras won't stop the angels from laying eggs, they will predate upon the young. If you want to spawn your angels, they will need a dedicated tank of their own.
