strange behavior

I have a 4 inch red tiger oscar whom I am moving to a new 90 gallon tank. In order to move his 10 gallon tank so I could set up the 90 in it's place, I had to drain half the water, then move the tank to another spot.
I refilled most of the ten gallon water, but the fish now stays at the bottom of the tank and seems reluctant to come to the surface for food.
His ph is at 6.4 but this usually doesn't bother him, normaly he can't eat enough. This situation has existed for about 24 hours and I wonder when it will be safe to move him to the new tank.

Oscare are notorious for sulking like this, they're well known for responding to any changes by sitting on the substrate not feeding. Just make sure the water remains good quality and wait it out. It'll soon get hungry.

Thanks. You were totally right. He came out the following day and ate. We're going through the moving process to the new 90 gallon and every now and then he gets angry and sulks again but he's doing well.
