What are these?

Someone I know has these fishes, bought as "Ophtalmotilapia ventralis Orange Cap"

well, they're supposed to be youngsters -the size of the Tanganicodus is an indicator- but they don't look like any Orange Cap I ever saw
they even don't look like Ophtalmotilapia to me.....but my hunch is some variety of Aulonocranus dewindti?

100% A. dewendti. I've kept Ikolas. they tend to show a lot of yellow.

Yes, Aulonocranus dewindti for sure. Interesting fish, I just got some from Rumonge, Burundi.
