Hello.

I have kept ventralis and nasuta, together with small Petrochromis in a 800L tank.
No problem! It worked fine.

It was a triangular tank, with MANY rocks in.

So go for it.

This aquarium is only temporary, in about 5 weeks I´ll move them to
my main tank.

they sure look nice, but I'm afraid they pulled your legs and sold you 6 males.....it doesn't look like there are any females in that group.

do you have pix where these can be seen from the side?

Hi Jesper,

Congratulations, very nice Ophthalmotilapia
But I have the same feeling as Sidguppy. The coloration is very close for all and it would seem that they have all fins long pelviennes typical of the male Ophthalmo & Cyatho...
Keep us inform.

Regards,

Fred

Hello Jesper,

I believe that you are right. On your 3 pics, we see much better and it looks like much more females. Forgiveness to have frightened you.
Thanks for sharing pics.
