Why are these blue rams easy to keep?

Postby michaelgeophagus » Wed Jul 14, 2004 7:56 am

Hi guys,

I can't help it.
I need you guys opinion or views on this.
Apparently rams are not that difficult to keep.
Breeding doesn't seem to be a problem too.
I think many guys/gals have lost money on rams and keep losing cos' these are great and beautiful fish.

I have read some favorable accounts
of a hobbyist on keeping and raising rams at this site
http://www.geocities.com/yutaka_loo/index.html
Not being skeptical, but really wanna know what you guys think.

Thanks.

It may be how this guy took his pics, but the body shape seems way too stumpy and short to me. I did see the name balloon ram being used and wondered if they had done to the rams what they have done to the mollies. Sad actually... :(
