Where to get Etroplus maculatus

Postby michi tobler » Wed Sep 06, 2006 9:02 am

Hi all,

a friend of mine is desparately looking for E. maculatus for a University study. He is looking for wild caught fish. Anyone know a source for such jewels?

Cheers, M

A source in Europe or in India?

There are a couple of importers in the UK who regularly import from India. They would be closest to you, I think. If you have import permits, I can put you in touch with an exporter in India.

Hi Michi,

I use to work with this one http://www.aquaticnurseries.com/ , I know they work with somebody in the US, maybe you can contact us to ask where they ship, maybe it's close to you. If no anserw , I'll ask my self ;)
they ship marine and freshwater fish, I got my Etroplus suratensis there.

Hi Florent!
How big is the tank and what is the density of water for suratensis?

Hi,

the fish are small and they are in a shop, the tank is only 150 liters. They are with an Acanthurus leucosternon and a Thalassoma lunare ... in a marine tank ;)
