Ptychochromis oligacanthus spawn

After a long while without fry these guys spawned after a long hot summer was over. Water temps are consistently around 76-78 degrees and 3 pairs formed and spawned simultaneously. Pty oligacanthus pairs are relatively good parents but often eat their eggs and/or ignore their fry. I removed the eggs for incubation and have now a couple hundred babies. I do love these critters their coloration changes dramatically with their mood and are easily kept in a community tank.
