Frontosa ID help please.

i think this frontosa is either a Tanzanian or Zambian but im not sure. Any ideas?

Looks like a 6 bar to me which means Cyphotilapia sp north (formerly C. burundi).

I agree with it being Burundi. A very colorful one I might add!

The bar on the face is what I usually look at first. On a Tanz, the top of that bar will be over the nose, like a nose guard and a Zaire will be more of a zoro mask and Burundi is more straight up and down. Those cover your six bar cyphos. 7 bars would be a kig (kigoma). There are other items to look at to but that should get you pretty close.
