New Jim Smith Fund Raffle

Hi all,

This quarter we are offering the following products for the Jim Smith Fund Raffle. The total is worth is over $200. We will sell $200 worth of raffle tickets at $1 each or 6 for $5. You can buy tickets at the social meeting June 1st.

Hey everyone!!!!

Don't forget to bring extra allowance to the social meeting for Jim Smith Raffle Tickets!!! $1 each or 6 for $5!!!!

So far we've raised $225 for the Jim Smith fund and with the $200 for this group of prizes we will be very close to our goal of at least $500 for this raffle program!!!

Remember this is how we raise funds to donate to worthy causes in the fish hobby. Last year we donated $2500 to Dr. Jay Stauffer at Penn State University allowing them to hire additional staff to help review and catalog their vast collection of thousands of Cichlid samples. The resulting database will be available to anyone for future research or education projects where data on Cichlid is needed!!! Be sure to see Dr. Stauffer give an update on the cataloging project in August at the social meeting and another update at the Extravaganza in November.

If you have participated in any of the Jim Smith fund raising programs/raffles you should be very proud that you are helping make a difference through your generosity. If you haven't participated in a Jim smith fund raiser please do. Over the last three years we have donated over $6,000!!!!
