Just curious as to the age of these guys. I have three and they seem slow growing. You having some great looking fish.

In my experience, some populations of 'temporalis' show a lot of green under certain conditions. Mine show lots of bright green when spawning, and when out of spawning, are predominantly the maroon-red, with the green minimized and darker( almost black). Here's a pic of my pair guarding fry.
