I am not sure these fish are from French Guyana. Maybe I am wrong but for me Satanoperca "red lips" from French Guyana have a different snout, not so long when they are big.
A Satanoperca from Rio Madre dos Dios in Peru also have orange lips in my mind.

Hello, I had chance to buy S. "Madre dos Dios" about 1 year ago - however I didn't have enought space so I decided that some day I will have second chance to do it:) I remember that they were almost pure gold coloration ( especially on those long snout). And becouse I'll plan to enlarge my water resources I will be very intrested to buy some young of that beautiful fish... So, pls. give me a sign when You will have youngsters of S. sp."Madre dos Dios"
