This will be my 1st year for registering. Can I bring a friend or do they need to register to attend the speaker talks?

Please do bring friends. However, to get into speakers, show fish, enjoy the pizza party, etc.. each person must be registered.

Since I am no longer a member of the OCA Board, of course I wouldn't know what has been decided recently, but 2010 would be the first year you have to be registered for the show. In 2009 you needed to be registered to attend the presentations by the speakers, and also for the pizza party, but not for the show.

Viewing the show and the vendor room is open to the public, however to enter a fish in the show I was under the assumption you must be registered.

Showing fish is open to the public as long as they pay the show entry fee. Registration to the EXTRAV is not required!

Speakers, pizza party, hospitality room, etc.... is for the paying customers.

Hope this helps! :D

How's the schedule coming along?

Do we have a flyer? I'd like to hang in the classroom.

Yes, we have a flier but I'm not sure who has the printed version, I think Kyle made the flier so he should have an electronic version.

The schedule should be posted soon if not already.

I'm driving from NY on Saturday and staying until Sunday with my wife. When can we go from room to room and look or buy fish. Do we have to register to do this or is the registration for the speakers. Thanks for any info provided.

Thanks
Joe

Registration gets you into the speakers, Hospitality Rooms, Morning Mixers, and the pizza party Saturday night.

You can see the show fish, buy from the rooms, and cruise the manufacturer and vendor rooms.

Joe, Saturday would be your day for buying from rooms. Sunday is the big auction and almost all the room set-ups will be packed up.

Hope to see you!

Also to get the $65 room rate you must be registered for the show, but between the hospitality suite for 2 nights and the pizza party,
you can probably eat and drink your $25 back....

I'm looking forward to seeing you too Klaus. Got a new camera by the way and can't wait to show it to you.

Best,

Kyle
