I have two breeding pair of these fish. This male is the largest and is the only wild caught. He is @12" TL (total length). I had a wild female, but lost her in a "marital dispute" with this bruiser. Love hurts. The female is @7" TL.You can see by the lip that he has had his share of lip locking with the little girl.

This female is F1 and the largest at 9" TL. Really a very pretty fish...both male and female. I would have to say that of the two, I think the female is the prettier with her yellow and black body, sleek lines and beautiful blue fins.

This pair breeds regularly in this pot. She has fry in there now as you might guess by this series of shots.
