Today in the Fishroom ~ Paratheraps Sp."coatzacoalcos"

Postby Aquamojo » Wed Jan 25, 2012 5:28 am

A few new shots of the P. coatzacoalcos. I have a dozen of these fish and a 100 gallon tank full of one inch fry. Looks like my largest pair will be breeding again soon. Interesting in that the female in this photo is about four inches....two thirds of the size of all of the other females that I own. The male is around seven inches in TL...still growing. They are both very active...but overall somewhat skittish.

Mo how long did it take to get the fry to 1 inch. Do they grow similar to Synspilum, Bifasciatus and Zonatum.
