Thank you for the clear up doubts. I have never seen live adults. Photos that I found on the net, have gained a bit of confusion and doubt whether it certainly is a form of "blue spotted." My fish along with the increase seemed too dark and their heads are too purple. In addition, I was surprised that only one individual had a characteristic shiny shells, I thought how it will be more of these points will come and unfortunately this does not happen.
Now I know more.

Why do most fish do not have a characteristic shiny points? They are from a single spawning
PS. Lee your aquariums are for many a model to create a biotope tank with cichlids from CA.
