A wonderful discus hobbyist has left us

For those of us in the discus hobby, or at least local to SW Ontario, I have some bad news to pass on. Barb Newell passed away yesterday. She bred, raised and sold discus, angels and bristlenose to many people over the years from her site http://www.canadadiscus.com/

She had been fighting breast cancer, and it had appeared that she was getting better, so this is a complete shock to those who knew her. People who met her in real life, or even just online felt that she would help out anyone with anything fish related if she knew she could help them.

Never got a chance to know her. Sounds like she lived a good life. Now I'm going to check out her web site you provided.
