Hi,
My name is Elise and I live in the Netherlands.
We have a freshwater tank since 6 weeks now.
A series of photo's from the very beginning untill the first fish came are here:

http://www.aquaforum.nl/ubb/ultimatebb.php/topic/15/4434.html

And photo's of the fish are here:

http://www.aquaforum.nl/ubb/ultimatebb.php/topic/15/4548.html

Though I am not sure if the Viejita is really a Viejita or a McMasteri........
We use CO2 with PH-controller, easy carbo, profito and ferro for the plants.
The inhabitants are:

18 japonica prawns
11 crystal red prawns
21 neon tetra
22 aspidoras pauciradiatus
2 rineloricaria spec. red
a couple apistogramma vietija (or Mcmasteri??)
4 anatome helena snails

with regards,
Elise

Welcome to the forum Elise. If you're questioning your macmasteri/veijita, you should post a few pics in the dwarf cichlid section. Mike Wise often shows up and he (or others!) may be able to tell you what you have. Often, there's crosses with those two species.

Welcome to the forum!

I tried to follow the links to look at your tanks but the URLs are only partial -- they have ellipses (the three dots that show something is missing ...) in them.
Sounds like a very nice tank, though.

Oeps, I removed the dots, the URL's should be right now.

Hi Elise,

I looked at your "A. viejita". You have a beautiful young male A. macmasteri. Most fish sold as "A. viejita" are in reality A. macmasteri. I discuss the differences between the two species in the Gallery section, if you are interested.
