I am a new member and wanted to say hello.

I used to be an avid cichlid enthusiast when I was younger but got out of it after high school. I am originally from Youngstown but I now live in Columbus. My brother and I built a 250 gallon acrilic tank and we had 2 Oscars, a clown knife, alligator gar, convict, firemouth and a few other cichlids. When I went to college I got out of it and now 15 years later I am starting to get back into it.

I just got a used 125 and I set it up in my great room as a 360 tank running an FX5 and an Ehiem 2215. I have 2 oscar's and a EBJD.

Anyways, hello everyone. Look forward to getting back into it.

I was the same way, I had a tank when I was 8 years old up until the time i left for college, no tank for about 5 years, I bought a house, and now i have entire room dedicated to fish!!!
