Okay I've just got a 5'x2'x2' and this is what I'm thinking about stocking
2 male and 3 female X. ochrogenys (Which I've already got)
A group of 6-10 O. ventralis Kigoma White Head
A small group of about 10 C. leptosoma Kitumba or other Cyprichromis I may be able to find
Will that be okay?
Any chance I could fit another Xeno species and still have all the other fish breeding? If not I'm happy with what I've mentioned
What about Melanogenys? (I'm guessing it's a no)
Secondly is a 4'x2.5'x2' (it has a very nice 2.5ft width)
I'm thinking a small group of about 6-8 C. furcifer/foai and bring it down to 1 male and a couple of females
Then with the other floor space, could I fit E. Melanogenys? or is there any other suggestions for fish in this tank? X. papilio maybe? C.pleurospilus? C. macrops?
If not I can just have the C. furcifer/foai by themselves. I've had much advice from other peoples experiences and this sized tank will easily house just 1 male and a few female C. furcifer/foai.
The other option is, I can swap the C. furcifer/foai around with the O. ventralis Kigoma white heads. Put the X. ochrogenys into the 4' with the O. ventralis and put E. melanogenys into the 5'?
I do have two 3'x18"x20" which if anyone has suggestions for? One of them I definitely want a small group of P. nigripinnis... other ideas?
To give you an idea, I've already got a 7ft with T. Bemba Orange and E. cyanostictus. Three 2'x18"x18" with Gold occies, Trigs and Dwarf Sumbu Comps respectively.
I have a pair of C. pleurospilus which can be put into any tank that they will fit into. At this stage they're in the 7ft though.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ANY ADVICE!!!
I hope it all made sense
