German translator

Postby Juan Artigas » Fri May 28, 2010 12:12 am

I would very much like to offer a German version of the Cichlid Room Companion for people that do not speak English in German speaking countries, If somebody would like to serve as German editor, please let me know!

That seems like a very large amount of work. Perhaps someone from cichlidenwelt.de is up for the task. I see Marco Welss and Albin have posted here.

It would be a tremendous amount of work but things can be translated as it is wanted, and there could be a team of translators too. Lets home. There is lots of great information in the Cichlid Room Companion that would be worth to offer in German. Thanks for your input

Juan, I am able to help time permitting. You are correct, it would be nice to have some of this information available in German. I know that many cichlid hobbyists across the pond view CRC.

Hello Juan,
I would also offer my help to translate some stuff, if wanted. I also have only limited time but it would be a pleasure for me to ease the access to the CRC information for some of the german speakers. Although I think more and more of them have quite decent english knowledge. :D
Anyway - I would be in to help... let me know if I can do anything!

Benny, you can still use the English version of this forum if it helps you with your language skills. However, there are many hobbyists in Germany, Austria or Switzerland that do not understand the English language and would be nice if they too could participate in this amazing website. :D
