Looking for a cichlid librarian

The Cichlid Room Companion is looking for a volunteer curator of the site library. This site counts with an extensive reference database and the system that supports the organization and display of the currently over 2,500+ cichlid references included, in ways meaningful to researches and cichlid interested people alike. To improve on this library and offer better ways to get access to its information we are looking for a person that would like to perform as curator of the Cichlid Room Companion library. His/her responsibilities include adding and administering references, abstracts, data about publishers, authors, documents for the CRC research library, and propose improvements for the system. In all, to keep the Cichlid Room Companion as the most comprehensive, organized can complete cichlid reference library in the world.

The person willing to take this responsibility must be familiar with the scientific reference format, as well as possessing an organized mind set and find joy and excitement with this project. He/she must as well count with sufficient free time (at least a couple of a hours a week) to fulfill the required responsibilities.

We offer full recognition for his work as well as the development of the necessary code that supports his/her ideas to improve the handling of that information. We offer as well permanent access to the Cichlid Room Companion catalog and all research and offered documents for his/her personal use.
