It was absolutely fantastic! This convention was only the second our club has ever done, and it went without a hitch. The speakers (Juan Miguel, Anton Lamboj, Spencer Jack, and Dave Hansen) were all very informative and entertaining. I enjoyed getting to talk to all of them.

Thanks again, Juan, for the great talks! I can't wait for the next time we have you come out here!

It was too much fun!!! Great speakers and great people that always makes for a good weekend!! I really maintained control, and only brought home (3) bags of cichlids!! That has to be a record for me!!

The HIll Country Cichlid Club did a great job, they are ready to even do a bigger event!! The hotel was really nice, the rooms were wonderful!!! I got to see lots of people from Texas that I know, and met some new ones too!! It was sort of a Cichlid Girls weekend, since Pam Marsh also flew in, and Caroline who is from Austin, made sure we were picked up, fed and watered, and returned to the airport in one piece. It was fun to hang out with Gregg, Dave Hansen and Dave S. everything went very smooth as far as I could tell!!

Unfortunately I had to leave before the auction was over, I would say it was just about 1/2 over, so there were a ton of bags, and I bet there were some great buys later in the evening.

Congrats to the HCCC and their crew, for a great weekend!
