help me id my little brothers fish please

i have a cichlid tank. my little brother absolutely loves fish and so he asked me if he could get one to put in the tank.
I consented and took him to the aquarium, where he found a cichlid i have never seen before, i bought him the fish
introduced it to the aquarium. he absoultely loves that fish and takes good care of it. it has lived for a long time,
but today it died. so i need help to id it to get him another. as he wants one like that.
