Compatible fish for cichlid pond

Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum and would appreciate some advice please.
I live in Thailand and have 3 fish ponds in my garden: 20,000 ltr Carp pond; 3,000 ltr pond; 750 ltr goldfish pond.

The 3,000 ltr pond has 12 yellow cichlids and a load of guppies.
It's quite well planted, has 3 rocky areas with pebble bottom at one end and sand bottom at other end.
The yellow cichlids I have had for 2 years.

I want to add other fish to the pond - preferably red or gold - to give a contrast to the yellow cichlids.

Any suggestions?

I thought about adding red swordtails but I'm not sure if they'll be compatible.

We'd love to help you, but don't know which 'yellow' cichlid you have. Would it be possible to get a picture of them so we can help you out better?

Also, are you concerned about your guppies being eaten?
