I have made 4 replies to various thread topics and only 1 has been posted on the forum. When I click submit, a message comes up "you post will be checked by board admin before being posted". Any chance "board admin" could check my replies and post them on the forum?

That would be most likely because you're still part of the new member group. That group is moderated to stop spam messages from being visible to the members of the forum. I'm in the process of going through what I've missed since I went on vacation. I'm sure your posts will be visible after today and I'm done going through the new stuff.
