Hey folks,

The Cichlidbase project needs your help! While Alex Calder is working on version 3.0 (Blog) we are attempting to positively ID and validate suspected ID's of many of our Cichlid photographs. This fish was labeled as Tropheus moorii "Zongwe Yellow Murago"

This is a juvenile and it is very difficult if not impossible to identify.
Do you have photos of an adult? It should look like this:

Yes, most certainly a juvenile fish. Unfortunately we don't have a picture of the adults, or access to the fish as it matures. I may end up contacting the importer/breeder directly to see if we can get pictures of the fish this one was bred from...however in the past I have found this to "ruffle the feathers" of importers...even those considered to be "reputable".

...Then again...those of you that know me...know I'm really not too shy about "ruffling feathers"
