What was the outcome of these descriptions. Are they valid?

All of the species have long been known to science before their descriptions, compare the species bibliographies and synonymies. They are all well diagnosed, and the characters have been properly discussed. So they are certainly valid.

Are they still around in the lake? And what's the fate of Yssichromis piceatus?
