New cichlid species and taxonomy

French Guiana is used in Weidner'book , Mary Bailey make the eenglish adaptation so I think is the correct spelling

Would you help me to ID these Heros? The color balance is correct. The fishes were imported from Germany in 2004 as Heros "Blau". May be this variation wild or Heros "Blau" is a bridal form?

Fabien, you published the photo of fish in the similar breeding coloration.

But the normal colors on your other photos are yellow-brown...

Is that true? I don`t think so. Kullander wrote in that paper about its distribution this: Heros severus Heckel 1840; 362. Type locality: bei Marabitanas, in Rio Negro. Syntypes: ?NMW 17354(1), ?17638(1), ?17656(1). Distribution: Orinoco River basin; in the upper Orinoco River drainage in Colombia and Venezuela; Amazon River basin in the upper Negro River basin. Countries: Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia.

That is correct, isn`t it?
