IUCN Red List of Species

Thanks to Richard Robinson the Cichlid Room Companion now counts with a complete reference to the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN evaluated species of cichlids, this is a valuable resource to learn about the status of cichlid species in the wild. Each of the Cichlid Room Companion cichlid profiles in the catalog includes this information.

Dan,

They are listed by the IUCN as Cichlasoma labridens, hence you cant find them in their page as Herichthys labridens. Link from the list (or profile) in the CRC. I have no idea what the IUCN consider as H. labridens, as no distinctions are made among the forms.
