Greetings from the Babes In The Cichlid Hobby!!

We are seeking donations for Babes In The Cichlid Hobby Silent Auction. It will be held this year at the American Cichlid Association Annual Convention, in Indianapolis, IN July 12-15, 2012. Anything that is fish related; jewelry, t-shirts, Aquarium equipment, Art, foods, etc., is welcome, please bring your donations to the convention. There is going to be some fantastic items this year, so bring your wallet too! Remember 100% of the money raised goes to the Paul V. Loiselle Conservation Fund, Guy Jordan Endowment Fund and the Stuart Grant Conservation Fund. Join your fellow cichlid enthusiasts by supporting Cichlid Research and Cichlid Conservation; together we can make a difference! We can’t wait to see you Indy!!!


About the Babes In The Cichlid Hobby: We are women cichlid keepers who want to make a difference in the hobby. Cichlid habitats are plagued by pollution, over fishing, deforestation, hydro-electrical power projects, mineral exploitation, global warming, floods, and troubled governments. With over 18 years of fund raising we have provided financial aid for cichlid research and cichlid conservation all over the world. We strive to widen awareness and encourage responsible cichlid keeping.
