breeding program

Postby jpmroane » Thu Feb 19, 2004 8:53 pm

I am interested in starting to breed fish for profit. What are the nessitys for starting a fish buisness. What are the most economicly fesiable ways to breed, raise, and sell fish. One last thing, how would a new breeder compeet with the established Importer/breeders like Tangled up in Cichlids or Below Water?
Thanks

Fish farm

Hi there, well theres a lot of things you can have to star a fish farm, the main one its MONEY, hehe, i know this sounds awful, but thats the way it will work, at the beginning you can make like 10 tanks of 50 gallons and then star putting the fish you want to breed and trying to form pairs, when this is done, you need to take away the rest of this wish or they will get kill, then you will need to buy like 20 tanks of 10 gallon with sponge filter for the frys, and thats how you can start breeding fish and then make it like a businnes like it will hold for it self, then with the past of time you need to grow so you can have a huge production and thats when you enter to compete not just with the local market but with the hole country, take care, bye
